JENNIFER LAWRENCE has revealed that she will be take a year-long hiatus from the big screen to focus on engaging young people in politics.

While promoting her latest film, Red Sparrow, the actress who plays a Russian spy explained to Entertainment Tonight, "I'm going to take the next year off. I'm going to be working with this organisation as a part of Represent.Us ... trying to get young people engaged politically on a local level.
